2. Subject of the service
The AT Rider App is a public transport information and transfer booking
application that displays the GTFS/GTFS-RT timetable and live vehicle
data of the participating transport operators (the Operators) and —
where enabled by the given Operator — allows booking and ticket
purchase. The AT platform itself is not a transport provider — the
accuracy of timetables, the actual operation of the services and the
carriage itself are the responsibility of the respective Operator.
3. Scope of the service
- Timetable queries, journey planning, live vehicle tracking (where the
given Operator provides live data).
- Transfer/service booking with online payment (Barion) for the
Operators that have enabled it.
- Digital ticket purchase (with QR-code tickets) at the Operators that
have enabled it.
- Notifications (departure reminders, operator announcements) — can be
enabled by the user.
The availability of individual features may differ per Operator; the
application always shows the features actually available on the selected
network.
4. Registration and account
Browsing (timetables, map, planner) can be used without an account.
Features tied to an account (favourites, booking, ticket purchase)
require an e-mail address and a password. The user is responsible for
keeping their login credentials confidential. Persons under 16 may use
the service only with the consent of their legal guardian.
5. Booking, payment, cancellation
- Bookings are made for the selected service/time, subject to available
capacity; online payment is processed by Barion Payment Zrt.
(licence number: H-EN-I-1064/2013) — card data never reaches the AT
platform.
- Booking hold: a started booking holds the seat until payment is
received, by default for 15 minutes (10 minutes for ticket
purchases); when the deadline expires, the booking is released
automatically. The Operator may set a different hold time — the
currently applicable time is shown on the booking screen.
- Ticket redemption: a purchased, not yet validated ticket can be
used until the redemption deadline stated in the ticket product
description (365 days by default), counted from the purchase; a
validated ticket is valid for the period defined by the ticket
product.
- Cancellation, refunds: the cancellation and refund conditions are
set by the Operator performing the carriage; they can be reviewed on
the booking screen before the booking is finalised. Refunds are
credited using the payment method used for the purchase.
- Tickets and bookings are issued as digital QR codes, which the driver
checks.
6. Accuracy of live data
Live vehicle positions and arrival predictions are estimates
computed from GPS data; they may differ from reality due to the actual
traffic conditions (congestion, weather, technical faults). The
application marks outdated position data as such, or falls back to the
scheduled time. The platform accepts no liability for the accuracy of
the estimates, or for cancelled or delayed services — these are the
responsibility of the respective Operator.
7. Intellectual property and third-party data
Part of the displayed timetable data comes from public, CC BY licensed
sources (e.g. VBB Berlin-Brandenburg) — in such cases the source and the
licence are credited on the application's "Data sources" screen, in
accordance with the licence terms. The application, its visual identity
and the platform software are the intellectual property of the Service
Provider.
8. Liability
The Service Provider does not exclude or limit its liability for
breaches of contract caused intentionally, or harming human life,
physical integrity or health. Otherwise, in connection with the
free-of-charge information features the Service Provider is liable to
the extent provided by the Hungarian Civil Code; claims related to the
carriage service must be enforced against the Operator performing the
carriage.
9. Modification and termination of the service
The Service Provider reserves the right to improve, modify or
discontinue the service. Of material changes affecting paid features, or
of the discontinuation of the service, the Service Provider gives at
least 30 days' notice within the application or by e-mail.
10. Complaints and remedies
Complaints may be submitted at info@anywheretransit.com; the Service
Provider responds substantively within 30 days. In the event of a
consumer dispute, the user may turn to the Hungarian **county
conciliation board** competent for their place of residence (the board
competent for the Service Provider's registered office: Csongrád-Csanád
County Conciliation Board, Szeged), and may also lodge a complaint with
the consumer protection department of the territorially competent
county government office.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Hungarian law — in particular Act V of 2013
on the Civil Code and Act CVIII of 2001 on electronic commerce
services — and by the directly applicable law of the European Union.
